Thermo Lignum - Heat Treatment in Paris

Musical instruments in the Cité de la musique - Philharmonie de Paris

Sanzas are lamellophones, various types of musical instruments that are counted among the plucked idiophones. They are widespread in the traditional African music of sub-Saharan Africa. Since they are largely made of wood or bamboo, they are of course not immune to wood-destroying insect pests.

The musical instruments had recently been purchased by the client and in order to make sure that woodworm, sapwood beetles or other wood-eating insects had not taken up residence, the collection was treated by us as a preventive measure before it could find its way into the museum's extensive collection. Despite the strict Corona requirements, we were able to accept the order and successfully complete it to the utmost satisfaction of our client.  Paris is always worth a visit!
