In addition to providing our services to a vast spectrum of clients, Thermo Lignum® will consider the manufacture and sale of integrated chambers to suitable, high volume users such as museums, galleries, archives and private collections.
Size and Location
Thermo Lignum® Static Chamber Systems can be tailor-made to fit an existing space, or made to almost any size to suit specific requirements. They can also be designed with two doors making them uniquely suitable for use as a “quarantine station” for treating museum loan exhibits for example, or where there are many objects frequently moving in and out of storage.
Since the running costs of our systems are economical, irrespective of volume, the first consideration should be to design the chamber to accommodate the largest single item which may require treatment, now or in the future. We therefore recommend our standard 40m3 chamber as the minimum capacity; however the standard processor system is suitable for larger chambers.
To assess the adaptability of existing premises we require a scaled floor plan indicating the ceiling height and location of the proposed area within the building.
Treatment Alternatives
The WARMAIR chamber is extremely versatile and can be adapted for additional types of treatment.
The Standard Thermo Lignum® System comprises
For WARMAIR Systems
- Thermal treatment chamber, 5m long, 3m wide, 3 m high, usable interior volume of 35m3
- Processor and ventilating system, air exchange rate 1500m3/hour
- PC for the display and recording of the process with logging and graphics printout capability
- Modem link for on-line problem solving by engineers at central station.
